Spring continues to unfold at breakneck speed. Each week, we see different flowers and new growth. Even with the rain this week, the ground is still dry, meaning that we are already using irrigation.
Micro-Greens
Since the kitchen is busier, we are scrambling to keep you supplied with micro-greens. Consequently, we have increased the amount of micros we plant each week. Fortunately, we have a backlog of red-veined sorrel that we are using to keep the kitchen stocked.
Turnips

We harvested the first turnips this past week. This photo is from the earliest planting. We are planting succession crops to follow the early crops.
Kohlrabi
We harvested the first of the kohlrabi, which was small. But one thing we know for sure is that the kohlrabi will continue to grow. We will have a good-sized crop to harvest over the next month.
tomatoes

Speaking of red fruit, we planted, staked, and ran the first twine lines for the tomatoes! You only have to wait another 2 months before we have ripe red fruit to harvest. Remember that patience is a virtue. Just think how much we will all appreciate fresh tomatoes after the long wait.
Strawberries
The strawberries are turning red! We will harvest them weekly. The first ones are still small, but larger ones lurk in the background, waiting their turn to ripen.
Lettuce

We are harvesting lettuce regularly. We will let you know when it slows down but right now it is abundant.
Parsley & Celeriac
We planted parsley and celeriac this week. Parsley will be ready in a week or so, and celeriac will be ready next fall.
In the meantime, come to the garden to see what else we have growing.
