It is time to start making pickles! The cucumbers are beginning to produce. You know that the plants are in a race against time to get as many seeds produced as possible before winter comes. We will continue to harvest more cucumbers each week.
herbs
The herbs are all growing well. We are working to keep the walk-in stocked.
peppers
The shishito peppers are coming on strong. This is their time to shine. All of the peppers are looking good. We will harvest some Gypsy peppers this week, along with more shishito peppers.

beets
As you know, we have started harvesting beets. They are growing well in the ground instead of the stock tanks. We just need to keep the gophers at bay!
leeks
I keep forgetting to tell you about the leeks. Anytime you want to start using them, we will start harvesting

elephant garlic
Tomatoes
The tomatoes are inching towards mass production. We are currently harvesting once a week, but that will soon change.
zucchini and patty pan squashes
We pick the zucchini and patty pan squashes daily. Even so, I expect to find some giant ones when we least expect them, but we are trying our best to minimize that occurrence.
dahlias
We have a wide variety of flowers, including some new dahlias this year. They grow alongside the edible violas, marigolds and borage.

Come on out to the Chef’s Garden to see what else we have growing.
