About carlton winemaker’s studio
The Carlton Winemakers Studio is a shared winemaking facility with a storied history as a home and launch pad for some of the most ground-breaking wines in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 2002, the studio was the first winery in the country built specifically to be an alternating proprietorship – where winemakers share space and equipment rather than the more common custom crush arrangement in which wineries pay the host to make wine for them.
