Bounty of the Willamette Tastings

King Estate Winery joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Situated on 1,033 acres southwest of Eugene in the Willamette Valley, King Estate is a working farm with 465 acres “under vine,” or planted with grapes, including 143 acres of pinot noir, 314 acres of pinot gris, with the balance in muscat, gewürztraminer and other varietals.

Greywing Cellars joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Sourced from two Willamette Valley vineyards, Greywing Cellars' Pinot Noir is made from fruit grown in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA at Fairsing Vineyard. The grapes for their sparkling wine are grown on Blackfeather Estate vineyard, located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA outside of Newberg. Both vineyards practice organic farming.

Illahe Vineyards joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. The focus of Illahe Vineyards is to grow and make quality pinot noir and white wines that express the vintage and their varietal characteristics.

Holloran Vineyard Wines joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Holloran Vineyard Wines are made following Old World traditions. Bright acidity makes the wines ideal for pairing and complementing meals.

Scenic Valley Farms joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Scenic Valley Farms was started in 1970 by Bob Zielinski and his wife, Pam. Today Scenic Valley grows over a thousand acres of pears, wheat, hazelnuts, hops, grass seed, and wine grapes.

St. Innocent Winery joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. St. Innocent Winery produces critically acclaimed Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Riesling, along with a small program devoted to sparkling wines produced in the traditional method.

Lundeen Wines joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Lundeen Wines specializes in pinot noir, chardonnay and sparkling wine.

Brick House Vineyards joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Brick House Vineyards planted their first vines in the sunny spring of 1990. Pinot Noir first, then Chardonnay and Gamay Noir. Every vine was planted with a commitment to be a certified organic farm. By 2005, Brick House Vineyards had achieved Demeter Biodynamic certification.
