We will start harvesting delicata, and acorn squashes as you need them. This photo showcases our “twin” squashes of 2024. We will harvest the butternut squash this coming week. They will harden for a few weeks and then be ready for use.
Chef's Garden Flowers

There are still a few roses because the Garden hasn’t had a frost or freeze yet. Everything is waterlogged since we have had over 3 inches of rain in the past week. The gem marigolds are showing the effects of a week of pounding rain. We have to hunt for decent blooms, but we hope to be able to harvest them until the Garden freezes.
Chef's Garden Colorful Fall Carrots

We still have some carrots in the stock tanks. It has been a good carrot year for us.
Chef's Garden Radicchio

We have started harvesting radicchio. I didn’t intend to harvest the radicchio soon, but the earliest varieties are ready. Several other radicchio varieties have yet to grow to harvestable size.
Chef's Garden Herbs

We have a ton of really lovely parsley growing in the Garden. We will harvest parsley until it freezes. Basil, tarragon, and sage are finished for the season. We can still harvest the following herbs: dill, rosemary, chervil, bay, lemongrass, and thyme.
Chef's Garden Cauliflower

We are harvesting cauliflower as it is ready.
Chef's Garden Sunchokes

We still have plenty of sunchokes to harvest.
Chef's Garden Celeraic

We have plenty of celeriac waiting patiently to be used.
Chef's Garden Zucchini

The zucchini harvest has concluded for the season.
Come on out to the Garden to see what else we have growing.
