Places of Hope at Art Elements Gallery

Reception and Artist Talk: July 11th 2-4pm

Art Elements Gallery is excited to present Places of Hope, a display of work featuring acrylic paintings by Marla Baggetta and blown glass by Kelly Howard. Both Kelly and Marla are respected artists with successful careers in their practiced mediums. Marla became paramount in online art teaching platforms after starting Painting Lessons with Marla, where she teaches people across the world and helps her students find their unique way of expression. While Marla mastered the online workshops, Kelly has created a glass haven in Lincoln city. She started and co-owns the Lincoln City Glass Center where you can take classes and workshops, as well as owns Volta Gallery in Lincoln City where she displays her beautiful works of art.

While seeking inspiration, both Marla and Kelly reflect on the ideas of quietness and hope, using iconic Oregon features in their work to carry this message. Places of Hope offers a deeper connection with nature and serves as a reminder to take a moment and appreciate its quiet beauty. With serene landscapes and delicate glass, enter into a seamlessly created display that restores hope and quiets the mind.
