Abacela Winery, founded by Earl and Hilda Jones in 1995, epitomizes a remarkable journey from scientific curiosity to viticultural triumph in Oregon's Umpqua Valley. Despite lacking winemaking experience, the Joneses ventured boldly to explore the potential of Tempranillo cultivation, introducing a myriad of grape varieties previously unseen in the region.

Greywing Cellars joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Sourced from two Willamette Valley vineyards, Greywing Cellars' Pinot Noir is made from fruit grown in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA at Fairsing Vineyard. The grapes for their sparkling wine are grown on Blackfeather Estate vineyard, located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA outside of Newberg. Both vineyards practice organic farming.

Scenic Valley Farms joins us this week for our complimentary wine tasting series, Bounty of the Willamette. Scenic Valley Farms was started in 1970 by Bob Zielinski and his wife, Pam. Today Scenic Valley grows over a thousand acres of pears, wheat, hazelnuts, hops, grass seed, and wine grapes.
