The experience inspired him to leave a successful career in the trucking industry and pursue music full-time. After taking the leap of faith in the ’90s\, he formed the Norman Sylvester Band and became a staple of the Portland blues scene. Since then\, he has performed more than 4\,000 shows throughout the Northwest. \nLenanne Sylvester-Miller has enjoyed a successful career as a professional vocalist and actor\, and has performed alongside her father full-time for the past seven years.
